Here we are sitting at the San Francisco Intl. Airport, waiting, waiting, waiting, a mere six hours till we board our next flight to Auckland NZ. I can't say that our travel day got off on the best foot, but hey, we have made it this far. Our day began at 2: ish with Flynn hurling in his box. Got him out just in time, let the dogs back in and it seemed that in no time, the alarm clock went off. Now Steve sets the alarm to sound like ducks quacking. Well, he won't do that again because when we let the dogs out, they went tear ass out the driveway looking for ducks. Great, just what we need, three Jack Russell's running madly around, in the dark, an hour before we are due to leave the house. That was just the beginning of the excitement. Chores, breakfast, and it turns out that the furnace isn't running. Great, we leave, cold temps are forecasted, and Lindsay won't have back up heat. Anyway, Courtney helps out and after dropping us off at the bus depot in Nashua, goes home to deal with our furnace. Then to finish off our excitement. We are halfway to Boston, and Steve lets out this big groan, he left all his camera gear sitting in his office. I have my little camera, we have two iPads so we will make do.
But the cool thing is at the airports they have automatic Best Buys vending machines so you can buy electronics, so Steve picked us a small camera, card readers and we are ready. SF airport is as great as I remember, clean and well organized. I would fly out of here anytime over LAX. So I just wants to get the first blog off. Stay tuned for more adventures.
